Lindsay Scott
Hello, and congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a Colorado native and live in Aurora, Colorado, with my husband of 15 years and our three children. I have been a birth doula since 2019 and have assisted in all types of births (unmedicated, medicated, and cesarean). It is truly amazing to witness a new life coming into the world. I would be honored to hold space for you and work alongside you and your birth team during this special time.
As soon as I get to your room, I am ready to go. First of all, I read the room and am able to see quickly what your immediate need is - whether it be assisting you with your breathing, assisting you with movement to provide comfort and/or move the birthing process along, or massage (my hands are one of my greatest tools) along with other ways that I can be of assistance. One of my greatest strengths is that I am able to keep you calm and grounded during the most challenging moments. I am here to encourage and involve your support person(s) as much as you and they want. My goal is to empower you during your birth to give you a great start into parenthood.
Whatever your birth plan looks like, I am here to support you through your birthing process. This is your birth and your story - no one else's. Every birth is different even if you have given birth before. I am here to honor that and advocate for your wishes.
